Yes, they are that bad. You could probably make money parlaying the teams playing the Browns and Giants the rest of the year.

As long a Manning continues to start they won't cover against anyone again this year. The kid is not ready. He is like a deer in the headlights out there. If I were Vegas I'd take them off the board.

I dunno, guys....this is just the kind of game that looks horrible and takes a lot of guts to play, but this is also the time of year when home dogs really bark. (Did you happen to see Houston and Washington this week?) I hope enough people think like you guys and push the line up. GL

I'll likely use them on a teaser....just to be safe. Do you think they start Manning the rest of the year?

I don't see why they wouldn't stick with Manning barring injury. They basically cashed in this season by starting him a few weeks back....this is the perfect time of year to get some reps in for him and rebuild for `05.

Eli's still starting, eh? I'm pounding the Steelers in teasers down to 3, plus the straight bet at -10. I might take the Over as well, as the team playing vs the Giants the last 2 week has covered that by themselves. Look at the last 2 weeks -- good defenses have CRUSHED the Giants, and this week should be more of the same.

Iguana is right. The teams that have clinched already this year are going to ease up and the dogs will bark. I hate to lay 10 with Pitt as Manning is due for a decent game, but I wouldn't touch the Giants +10 with a 10 foot pole. The way to go is to tease Pitt down in a 10 pt teaser and/or a 7 point teaser with the Under.

True, clinched teams do ease up a little down the stretch. With so many teams being at the top of the AFC, will they still be fighting each week for homefield advantage?

if you are gonna be on the giants (IMO the right side) you should easily be able to find 10.5.... even more I imagine by gametime.....

10.5 -108 (available now using free 1/2 point at skybook....

DONT SETTLE FOR 10 if you are on the DOG here....

Not a fan of NFL road favorites, or anyo other sport for that matter. In this case the Giants are not playing well at all and rookie QB may be the worst in the NFL at this time. Cant see the Giants scoreing much, if any al all...If forced could only have the road chaulk..But not forced as there are many things out there that are much more interesting than this matchup.

I'd play on the NY Giants in this one. Pitt has been a covering machine all season long and it just seems too easy to pick them every week. IMO this game could be alot like the sunday night WASH/Philly game. No the low scoring type persay but the closer than you would think it should be type game. Just my opinion. I could be wrong and prolly am as I've sucked in the NFL thus far with all the favs covering every week.

Ahhhhhhummm....

Didn't we just have this SAME conversation last week when most thought the Jets would get the cover?

Pittsburgh has NOTHING to play for? How about wanting to keep pace with New England for the AFC homefield advantage? How about the Steelers HATING the Ravens and wanting to at least defeat the Giants just as badly as Baltimore did last week?

How about the personal aspect of Pittsburgh QB "Big Ben" wanting to do well as a means of showing up jint QB Manning who was drafted ahead of him in the draft?

I'm firmly on Pittsburgh at -10....I'd leave it alone at -10.5....but at -10 I wouldn't be nervous about backing the Steelers in the least.

I TOTALLY agree that this could be a very good let down spot fot the Steelers just like Philly on Sunday night. This is actually a better situation being a non division game. Why would Pitt want to be up for this game?? The whole league knows Manning is struggling and the Giants are just horrible...right?? Here come the mighty Steelers into town with their rookie QB....don't forget guys he's a rookie as well with tons of talent around him. Looks way too easy to figure that Pitts defense is just going to suffocate the Giants offense. Pitt's offense if you look at it has not been clicking like they were several weeks ago...they are winning ugly IMO right now as they have got outgained in yardage the last two games! I'm looking for the Giants sparkplug Tiki to have a big game and Shockey as well to step up here. TO's just killed them last week with 6...I don't see that happening this week at home. I'm all over the Giants here plus those points even possibly considering an outright upset by them and shocking everyone! That's probably asking way too much, but definetly think they stay within the number!

Why does everyone insist on looking for a letdown for the steelers EVERY SINGLE WEEK? This has to be like the third week in a row that someone has asked the question.

Yeah, you're right...maybe the words "let down" were a bit repetitive, but I do think they won't be up for this game as much as if they were playing a better opponent. Their offense has also been slacking a bit recently...one or two big plays by the home team could get the momentum and cover! Don't forget...this is the NFL, not college. 10 pts is a lot to lay on the road to any team...of course like we all know Pitt could roll 35-3 or something, but my money will be on the G-men with those points! I see a lot closer game than the oddmakers think...GL!
